In order to ensure the normal operation of the water pump, it is generally recommended to replace the sealing ring once every three months. Dongsheng seal tells you how to replace the sealing ring of the water pump:

1. Turn off the power supply of the water pump, disconnect the main power supply of the water pump, and make warning signs to avoid being artificially powered on during disassembly.

2. Symmetrically disassemble the screws on the end cover of the pump body.

3. The motor and the impeller are all pumped out. It is difficult to pump out the large water pump. There are screw holes on the pump cover to push out the impeller. (if the motor of vertical pump is too large, hoist it slowly with a hoist and place it flat on a stable table. For giso pump, wipe off the coupling and pull out the bearing box together with the impeller)

4. Loosen the impeller fixing screw with a socket wrench.

5. Pull the impeller outward with Rama. If it cannot be pulled, put a small wooden block on the impeller, beat it with a hammer, and slowly rotate the impeller. Pay attention to prevent Rama from damaging the impeller if it is a cast iron impeller.

6. After removing the impeller, observe the state of the water pump sealing ring. First, slowly pull out the moving ring and remove it. If it is tight, spray lubricating oil on the shaft and remove the moving ring.

7. After removing the moving ring, you can see the mechanical seal static ring. The static ring is embedded in the port of the pump body. You can pry it gently from a small word. Note that there is an L-shaped or O-shaped seal ring on the outer ring of the static ring. Prying is to prevent prying the seal ring.

10. Before installation, the shaft (shaft sleeve) and gland shall be free of burrs and the bearing shall be in good condition; The seal, shaft, sealing cavity and gland shall be cleaned. In order to reduce the friction resistance, the part where the mechanical seal is installed on the shaft shall be thinly coated with oil for lubrication. Considering the adaptability of rubber O-ring, if oil is not applicable, soap liquid can be coated. The floating stationary ring has no anti rotation pin structure and is not suitable for oil coating. It should be dry installed into the gland.
